King's rises in THE World Reputation Rankings
King's climbs in THE World University Rankings
King's College London has risen to 43rd place in the Times Higher Education world rankings of universities by reputation, making it Europe's biggest riser in the reputation rankings.
The rankings highlight King's continued success in building global profile and reputation through international research, collaboration and partnerships.

King's is ranked in top 20 in world
King's has risen 19 places to 38th in the world in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2013-14, in association with Thomson Reuters.
King's has recorded a greater rise in the rankings than any other UK university in the top 100 and has risen from 8th to 6th position in the country.

Athena SWAN Bronze Award given to King's
King's is ranked 19th equal in the world in the QS World University Rankings of the top 800 global higher education institutions.
In addition, King's has had its 'five star status' renewed again in 2013. QS describes a typical five stars university as 'world class in a broad range of areas, enjoys a high reputation and has cutting edge facilities and internationally renowned research and teaching faculty'.

King's has been a member of the Athena SWAN Charter since 2007 and gained its Bronze institutional award in 2008. The College's Bronze award was renewed in September 2013 for a further three years.
Athena SWAN is a Charter which recognises excellence in an institution's commitment to gender equality in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM) subjects.
