Welcome to King's
King's is committed to ensuring all new members of staff benefit from a smooth transfer to their new post and set of responsibilities. Our induction programme takes into account your needs whilst you become familiar with your working environment.
We encourage all new staff to join us at the Welcome to King's session for a half-day introduction to King's.
The purpose of the session is to welcome all new staff to the College, with:

an overview of King’s and where you fit in;

an 'Institutional Perspective' from the Principal, Professor Rick Trainor;
-
important messages from Health & Safety, Legal Compliance and Payroll & Pensions;
-
as well as Equality and Diversity issues and their relevance to your work at King’s.
During lunch, staff will have an opportunity to meet representatives from around the College.
Date
The next Welcome to King's session will take place on Thursday 7 June 2012 between 09:30-14:00. There is an optional tour of the Strand Campus after lunch at 14.00.
Venue
The Council Room, King's Building, Strand Campus.
