Research strategy
The Centre has the following six strategic objectives for its research:

To develop a world leading portfolio of research grants;

To achieve an optimal performance in the forthcoming Research Excellence Framework (REF);

To develop a culture of research excellence and support career development;

To anticipate and seek to influence future research directions and imperatives;

To conduct research that contributes to and may be used in the other activities of the Centre;
-
To facilitate knowledge exchange by the application of research results to other areas.
