The work of the Centre is focused on six interlocking research strands. These are:
1. Illness narrative as life-writing
2. Concepts of health
3. Distress and disorder
4. Nursing and identity: crossing borders
5. Cultural and historical forces in psychiatric diagnosis
6. Case studies of medical portraiture
Output
The output of the Centre will include:
