Research Grant Approval
Departmental and School approval must be confirmed for every application being submitted for external funding by any member of College staff
The RG form is the costing and approval form for all research projects to be undertaken in the College. The RG form should be completed and signed by the Principal Investigator for the project. Completed forms must be signed off at Departmental level, by the Head of Department, and at School-level to indicate endorsement and commitment to each proposal.
Only Heads of School and Directors of Administration are approved School-level signatories for RG forms.
For staff in the Global Institutes and the Institute of Contemporary History, RG forms must be endorsed by the Institute Director and by the Vice Principal for Arts and Sciences or nominee.
A hard copy or a scanned copy of the completed and fully signed RG form must reach Research Grants and Contracts at least five days before the application deadline for the intended submission date.
