Budgets and costs
This part of the website is designed to help you think through the sorts of resources you may need for your research project and provides further information on how to develop your project budget. Any budget submitted as part of a research grant proposal will need to be developed in partnership with relevant professional service colleagues.
You should contact the appropriate staff in your Department / School or staff in the Arts and Sciences Research Office as early as possible in the development of your proposal.
After an initial general section on project budgets and full Economic Costing (fEC) there are further detailed sections which provide an overview of the types of resources you will need to consider in developing your project budget and information about how to obtain costs for these budget items.
