The Arts and Sciences Research Office offers expert guidance on all aspects of making grant applications and securing research funding. If you’re planning to submit an application you should aim to make contact with the appropriate member of the Research Office Team at the earliest opportunity, or drop into our application surgery which takes place every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm-5pm.
The earlier you contact us, the more effectively we can support you with the following:

Helping you find an appropriate sponsor and scheme for your research idea.

Advising on the steps involved in putting together a research application.

Giving feedback on draft sections of the application and administering internal peer review.
