In keeping with the Dental Institute's forward looking vision, it now offers residential dental courses in Dharwad, near Bangalore in India. The programmes allow students to stay at home, office or practice and require attendance at an annual intensive face-to-face course.
Programmes available include, Advanced General Dental Practice MSc, Aesthetic Dentistry MSc, Dental & Maxillofacial Radiology MSc, Dental Public Health MSc, Fixed & Removable Prosthodontics MClinDent, and Maxillofacial Prosthetic Rehabilitation MSc.

The Study India Programme (SIP), which is sponsoring 200 British students to spend three weeks in India this summer to study Indian society, culture and language, was officially launched with a reception at the CCI Club in Mumbai, India, on Tuesday 1 September.
