About our people
The Department of Addictions at King's currently has around 40 full-time academic and research staff members. Teaching at the Department is also supported by other visiting academic staff, leading practitioners and part-time tutors. All our academic staff are research-active and their outstanding international reputations, unique, sought-after expertise and contemporary experience have made our teachers leaders in their fields. Collaborative working between academics and clinicians has characterised the approach of the National Addiction Centre for well over 30 years.
