The next event will be at 12pm on Wednesday 14th May 2014:

Title: Use of pilot economic models to support grant applications for clinical trials - a case study of STRATA project.

Speaker: Huajie Jin

The KTP invites you to a lunchtime seminar in which a pilot economic model, which was used to support the grant application for the STRATA project, will be presented. The aim of STRATA was to develop a stratified treatment pathway (ST) for schizophrenia patients, whereby a brain scan administered to patients would determine which drug was used. A pilot model was built to assess how accurate the stratified test needs to be in order to make ST cost effective, compared to the current treatment as usual strategy following NICE guidelines. The limitations and future potential use of pilot economic models will be discussed.

To book a place, please email Ms Rosanna Chambers.
