Summer School
Following the success of last year’s programme the Health Service and Population Research Department is pleased to announce the opening of its 2012 Summer School series.
This year’s programme again offers a diverse series of high quality short courses designed to offer a cutting edge view of current issues within mental health research and policy. All of the courses are led and taught by senior members of the faculty who are nationally and internationally recognised experts in their fields. Course contributors are actively engaged in mental health research, clinical practice, policy formulation, and service development.
The programme will be of interest to clinicians and researchers from a variety of backgrounds, mental health policy makers, service users, service providers and managers, and international development workers. Classes enable participants to share experiences and ideas with colleagues from a wide variety of challenging practice settings, and provide opportunities to develop lasting collaborative relationships with people who are enthusiastic about mental health research.
Courses range from one to five days in length and participants may elect to attend either a single course or several courses in succession. Applications are welcomed from Home, EU and International students.
