Activities and Interests

Research Interests

I am currently working towards optimising resting-state functional MRI data acquistion with a particularly focus on reducing image artefacts. This work involves both optimising pre-existing pulse sequences alongside developing and implementing novel pulse sequences. I also have an interest in the strategies used to analyse resting-state data.

Skills

I am proficient in using several operating systems including UNIX, Linux and Microsoft Windows as well the following programs, LaTeX, FSL, SPM, LabVIEW, SPSS, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. I also have some experience of EPIC (GE pulse programming environment) having updated and modified several sequences (Quiet and partially silent EPI, Dual Inversion Recovery EPI).
