Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis
2012 Supervisor workshops 

Designed for qualified practitioners who are in, or are planning to take on, a supervisory role in cognitive behavioural therapies for psychosis services. 

Dates: 22-23 November 2012; 9.00 – 17.00

• Using rating scales in supervision

• Developing and measuring competence

• Structuring supervision

• Evaluating supervision

• Supervising frontline staff in formulation skills

• Supervising frontline staff to deliver brief interventions

• Supervising work with carers and service users.

All have worked as research trial therapists; extensive experience as therapists and supervisors in the NHS; provided supervision as part of an accredited training programme and within both specialist and routine services for people with psychosis and their carers; and experience of supervising a range of staff from national and international mental health services.

CBT for Psychosis Summer School

Applications are now being taken for the five day CBT for Psychosis Summer School, taking place from 16-20 July 2012. The closing date for applications is Friday 6 July 2012

The course comprises five days of workshops designed to act as a refresher and skills update in cognitive behaviour therapy for psychosis. Delegates will have the opportunity to practice and refine skills and to update themselves on the latest theoretical developments in cognitive behavioural understandings of psychosis and new therapy developments.

CBT with Couples and Families

9.00 - 17.00 each day

In this two-day workshop Dr Frank Dattilio will indentify the most efficacious cognitive-behavioural techniques for couples and families. He will provide an integrated approach both cognitive-behavioural and systemic, as well as process of emotions.

This workshop is suitable for all mental health practitioners who are interested in working with couples and families from a cognitive-behavioural perspective.
