The computing side of the Department is responsible for network, file serving and image processing services.
Dean's Office
The Dean’s Office at the Institute of Psychiatry deals with academic and strategic planning and is supported by the Institute Secretary’s Office.
Education Support Team
Provide informartion and advice about taught and research degrees and student welfare for current and prospective students.
Human Resources
The HR Office is locally responsible for the provision of an HR management service to the Institute, departments and individual members of staff
Learning and Teaching Centre (LTC)
The Learning and Teaching Centre (LTC) is a small unit at the Institute of Psychiatry created as part of the Institute’s Central Administration in May 2003.
Library
The library is the largest psychiatric library in Western Europe, holding 3000 print journal titles, 280 of which are current subscriptions
Management Accounts
Headed by Kate Towner and deals with the administration of Departmental finances, teaching and NHS recharges.
Premises
Premises consists of two departments; Estates and Facilities Services.
Press Office
The Institute of Psychiatry’s Communications Office acts as a point of liaison between the media and Institute of Psychiatry experts.
Research and Development Office
The R&D Office provides support to researchers in both the Institute of Psychiatry and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM).
Research Grants & Contracts office
The Research Grants & Contracts office (RG&C) deals with all administrative, financial and legal aspects of externally-funded research in the College
