Senior Leadership Team
The Senior Leadership Team shapes the direction of research priorities for the department of Addictions. Professor John Strang is supported by: -
- Dr Paolo Deluca, who is the programme manager of the NIHR funded programme grant “Developing and evaluating interventions for adolescent alcohol use disorders presenting through emergency departments” and deputy lead for the South London NIHR CLAHRC Alcohol Theme.
- Dr Ed Day, who's work is split between clinical research and teaching at King’s and clinical practice in a drug treatment team in Erdington in Birmingham.
The Addictions Department also hosts several emeritus academics who have now retired but who continue to undertake and support addictions research. We are grateful for the ongoing contributions of Professor Malcolm Lader, Professor Mike Gossop and Professor Ian Stolerman to the work of the Addictions Department.
We also enjoy ongoing academic collaborations with many leading academics from other institutions, such as Professor Wayne Hall, Professor Robert West, Professor Keith Humphreys and Professor Michael Farrell.
