9th Alzheimer's Disease Open Day
Want to meet the scientists and know more about research into Alzheimer’s Disease?
Neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease are devastating but sadly all too common. Researchers at King's College London are studying these diseases – their causes, possible cures and the effects on sufferers and carers.
OPEN TO ALL, the aim of the Open Day is to increase public awareness and de-mystify the research process by showing interested members of the public some of our research. There will be a full and active day’s programme starting with a short introduction, followed by several guided tours to meet and talk to the scientists in their research laboratories. The day concludes with a Questions and Answers session with a panel of experts.
The Open Day is supported by Alzheimer's Research UK.
A free sandwich lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
Admission is free but restricted to named ticket holders only
