Connected Campus

The Connected Campus Programme is playing a key role in underpinning and contributing to the College’s vision of enhancing quality and distinction in all areas of business activity, supported by world-class professional services and infrastructure.
 
 
It is a three-year project portfolio designed to align all of the technological and information initiatives in ISS with the objectives outlined in the College’s 10-year Strategic Plan 2006 -16 and will deliver innovation in information services and systems across the College. It articulates a series of key project activities with benefits that will include:
  • refurbished and improved core IT infrastructure and modernised information systems
  • web-enabled business processes to enhance access to teaching, learning, research and administration
  • seamless ‘anytime anywhere’ access to a diverse range of resources, applications and services
  • added value to existing services at King’s
  • consistency in service delivery across all campuses
  • strengthening College corporate business continuity
  • joined-up ISS services for a truly converged department
  • long term cost efficiency.
