New FCO Historical Collection leaflet

The new FCO Historical Collection leaflet
The new FCO Historical Collection leaflet
A new leaflet has been produced to publicise the historical library collection of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).  This magnificent collection is arguably the most important library collection to be acquired by the College in its history and comprises over 60,000 items – books, periodicals and pamphlets, as well as some manuscript and photographic material – spanning 500 years of history and covering all parts of the world. Many items in the collection are extremely rare and a number are unique. Transferred to King’s College London from the FCO Library in 2007, this unique collection provides a superlative resource for the historian, offering a wealth of opportunities for teaching and research. If you would like copies of this leaflet, please email Melanie Strong or phone 020 7848 1843. The leaflet can also be downloaded from the foot of this page.
