Rola Gordon joins the World questions | King's answers board
Rola Gordon has become the latest addition to the World questions | King's answers board, leading on cancer.
A cancer survivor herself, Rola said: "How King's collaborates with other cancer organisations is really wonderful. It's nice to see the various places working together, not as independent silos.
"King's - in terms of clinical care - takes care of a population of 1.7million people, it educates a whole generation of future health professionals and is at the forefront of research and collaborative research.
"But the most important thing this campaign could achieve is to make people's lives easier and to make health less elusive for people who are facing a cancer diagnosis (or living with cancer) and, fundamentally, shed some light on where the next stage in drug treatment and development will be."
