UNISON is a self-organizing collective of staff who join together (and together with staff in similar work in other institutions) to provide each other with mutual support and combined strength. When our representatives go into a meeting with management, the strength that they take with them is the strength of the members. Everyone who joins, adds to that strength. Everyone who refuses to join, dilutes it. Often members are not active in the union, but the fact of their membership is itself a positive, vital contribution. So join now.
