The Legacy of Glanville Williams

To mark the 2011 centenary of the birth of Glanville Williams, the School of Law, King’s College London hosted a major international conference on 3 and 4 December 2011. Leading criminal law theorists and medical law ethicists from a number of countries discussed contemporary issues concerning the sanctity of life and the criminal law while engaging with Glanville Williams’ many contributions to these fields. This conference aimed to make a significant contribution to the current debate in these areas.
