Mr Dimitris Mourkas
Dimitris read law at the Democritus University (Greece) and subsequently obtained an LLM from the University of London. He is currently doing a Ph.D. on competition law at King’s. He is the recipient of the 2007 CEL’s research studentship. Over the past 2 years Dimitris has been acting as research and teaching assistant for Professor Richard Whish.
Dimitris is interested in all aspects of competition law and policy. The title of his thesis is ‘Competition Advocacy’, focusing mainly on the assessment by competition authorities of public restrictions of competition.
