Supervision
At King’s we believe that the correct supervision is key to a successful research degree. The Dickson Poon School of Law has over fifty full-time academic staff members as well as visiting professors and lecturers with practical experience. Each of our doctoral researchers is assigned two supervisors – a primary supervisor who oversees the research project and a second supervisor who provides complementary expertise.
Our supervisors work with the Graduate School to stay abreast of best practice in research supervision. Some researchers are affiliated to one of our centres or institutes such as the Centre of European Law, Centre of Medical Law and Ethics, KJuris or the International State Crime Initiative. Joint supervisions and research groups allow the exchange of ideas beyond disciplinary boundaries.
For a full list of available supervision see our Academic Staff profiles.
