EAM
Ethnikon Apeleftherotikon Metopon, National Liberation Front, political wing of the Greek communist-controlled guerilla organisation ELAS

ELAS
Ethnikos Laikos Apeleftherotikos Stratos, National People's Liberation Army, the communist-controlled Greek guerilla organisation

FFI
Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur, the French forces of the interior, formed in Feb 1944 from resistance forces and commanded from London

Flak
Fliegerabwehrkanonen (anti-aircraft artillery), term for German anti-aircraft fire

Gestapo
