Collection Development
Our team of Information Specialists is responsible for ensuring that the Library collection develops in line with the teaching and research requirements of the College. We do this through extensive communication, ensuring reading lists are sent directly from Schools to the acquisitions team, and selecting resources based on requirements identified by both ourselves and Schools.

Staff wishing to recommend a book for purchase that is not specifically required for a reading list, please email acquisitions@kcl.ac.uk
Students wishing to recommend a book for purchase should email their Information Specialist giving as much detail as possible: author; title; edition; year; publisher; ISBN (if known).
Collection development policies
To facilitate the development of the collection, the following policies are available. These have been created in discussion with the each School and are working documents open to development.
