Recruitment Poster, World War One collection

This exhibition marks the fiftieth birthday of the Liddell Hart Centre for Military Archives at King's, and features some of the Archive team's favourite items relating to World War One drawn from the collections of the Liddell Hart Centre.

The subjects covered include the media portrayal of the war in 1914, the psychological manipulation involved in army recruitment, and the birth of the tank.

The exhibition complements a Liddell Hart Centre at 50 blog  marking this landmark in our history.

Celebrating 50 years of the Liddell Hart Centre for Military Archives is on display in the exhibition cabinets in the foyer of the main King's building in the Strand open free to the public.
