Plagiarism
Library Services provide a range of services to promote academic integrity and help students avoid plagiarism at King's.
Citation and referencing skills
Information Specialists are available to teach students how to cite and reference sources correctly. Taught sessions can be embedded in programme modules, and small group or one-to-one tutorials are available on request.
Bibliographic software
Library Services provides and supports the use of bibliographic software including RefWorks, Reference Manager, and EndNote. Information Specialists can provide training and support for all these applications.
Plagiarism education
Plagiarism is not always deliberate and can result from poor writing, citation, and information skills, or a lack of efficient time management. Information Specialists can provide customised sessions that educate students in how to avoid plagiarism in all these ways.

Library Services adminstrates and supports TurnitinUK on behalf of the College. TurnitinUK includes an electronic plagiarism detection service which helps academic staff identify plagiarism and helps students understand how they can improve their written work.
