Library transformation

Denmark Hill library transformation project

As part of King’s vision for Denmark Hill Campus, the Learning & Teaching Space Improvement Programme is embarking on an ambitious project to transform the campus’s library service.

There will be a refurbished Library Service on the campus, managed by one team but spread over two distinct sites with a graduate, research and clinical emphasis.

The WEC library has been refurbished and was re-opened in October 2012. The second phase of the project will commence Easter 2013 with the redevelopment of the IoP library:

  • IoP Library closes - 21:00 28th March 2013
  • WEC Library closed for Easter break - 29th March to 1st April
  • Library staff pack and remove books - 2nd to16th April 2013
  • Library handed over to the contractors - 17th April 2013
  • IoP Library re-opens - 10th September 2013

These webpages provide you with everything you need to know about the project, including how to access resources from the IoP Library over the summer.

The information leaflet will be updated and will be available for download (pdf, 265kb).
