The research strategy of the Division of Genetics & Molecular Medicine aims to:

identify the genes, and variations therein, which contribute to common diseases

understand the biology and pathophysiology of genes and proteins known to contribute to disease

understand epigenetic effects such as imprinting, and control of gene expression

develop novel analytical methodologies and approaches to study epistatic interactions between genes.
