Research Clusters

Research within the Division of Genetics and Molecular Medicine are grouped into four major research themes (clusters). These clusters are composed of research groups from within the three Sections of the Division.

 

Models of Disease Cluster logoModels of Disease Cluster is involved in the development of relevant disease models for both the dissection of disease mechanisms and for the development of therapeutic interventions

 

 

 

ComplexDiseaseClusterComplex Disease Cluster aims to identify genes & loci that confer susceptibility to complex diseases, to understand their contribution to pathogenesis and to improve diagnosis and prevention of these diseases

 

 

 

Cancer ClusterCancer Cluster encompasses groups of investigators with an interest in cancer genetics, and clinical and basic research in a range of solid and liquid tumours

 

 

Bioinformatics, Statistical Genetics Epigenetics logoBioinformatics, Statistical Genetics & Epigenetics Cluster combines an interdisciplinary research programme drawing from expertise across a group of investigators working towards interpreting genetics and genomes in medicine and biology
