Biography

Mark Green originally studied for his BSc at Manchester Metropolitan University in 1995.  He then went on, in 1998, to continue his studies at Imperial College London where he completed his PhD and also became Post Doctoral Fellow from 1998-9. Following on from this he moved to the University of Oxford, also in the capacity of Post Doctoral fellow, from 1999 - 2000. In 2000 he became a Senior Scientist at Oxonica Ltd, where he remained until 2004. After this he gained the post of Lecturer in Bio-nanotechnology at King's College London from 2004 -2007. Up until 2010 he was Senior Lecturer, still at King's College London and at present has gained the Reader position at King’s.

Research interests

Organometallic based synthesis of semiconductor and metal nanoparticles, biological applications of nanomaterials, rare-earth based nanomaterials
