BEng Biomedical Engineering Taster courses

 

We will be running Biomedical Engineering taster sessions at St Thomas' Hospital, London on the following dates:

22 February 2013, 2pm - 5pm

5 April 2013, 10am - 1pm

26 July 2013, 2pm - 5pm

1 November 2013, 2pm - 5pm

The Biomedical Engineering taster course is an interactive information session for A level Maths and Physics students. The session comprises of short talks on Biomedical Engineering and Computational Cardiology, followed by interactive demonstrations on Anatomy & Mechatronics and Image Guided Surgery. Students will also have a tour of our MRI suite and observe an ultrasound machine in action.

 

School visits

There is an opportunity for members of the Biomedical Engineering Department to come and visit schools to talk about how maths, physics and technology are transforming modern medicine.
