Biography
A talented multimedia developer with a strong background in learning technologies and instructional design, Jerome has proven experience in the creation and delivery of blended and distance learning courses and materials.
Previous employers have included South Birmingham College, The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand (working on the NZ Open Educational Resources project) and a number of freelancing contracts including the provision of health education materials for the World Health Organisation, contracted through the Flexible Learning Network.
Most recently, Jerome was based in the Biomedical Informatics department at St George's University of London working on a distance learning foundation degree delivered in collaboration with Kingston University and the Royal Holloway.
Technical skills include Flash/Flex/Air, XHTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP/MySQL together with graphic design, audio and video production, 3D visualisation and a passion for standards compliant, accessible design. Jerome’s current areas of interest include Rich Internet Applications and smart phone development for mobile learning.
