Biography
John Rees qualified from Cambridge University and Guy's in 1973. He has published over 200 articles, 17 book chapters and 20 textbooks. He was consultant physician in general and respiratory medicine at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation Trust until 2010 and Censor at the Royal College of Physicians. He was Dean of Undergraduate Education at King's College London School of Medicine until December, 2010. His present role and interests are in medical education in relation to global health. He is the academic lead for the intercalated BSc in Global Health and has links with medical schools in Somaliland and Zimbabwe.
