Areas of Responsibility
Sally’s role involves the strategic management of the Clinical Skills Centre which provides teaching and assessment for over 4000 medical, nursing and midwifery students each year. Sally also takes the lead on clinical skills teaching this includes the organization and delivery of peer teaching and simulation within medical education.
Biography
Sally is a qualified Paediatric nurse; her last role was a Senior Staff Nurse at the Royal Brompton Hospital. She moved to the position of clinical skills Facilitator within the child branch team at the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery, Kings College London in 2000 and was promoted to her current role in 2003.
Sally has a Masters in Academic Practice and an Honors Degree in Nursing, as well as several clinical based qualifications such as ENB 160 and the PALS course.
