Electives for visiting students
The application period for Electives in the September 2013 - January 2014 period, opens on Monday 20th May 2014. The deadline for receipt of applications at this office is by 4pm Wednesday 26th June 2013.
Applications will be processed after this deadline and successful applicants will be notified if they have been offered a place at the end of July. Please note this may vary depending on the number of applications received.
It is also important to please note that during the Christmas Holiday period, due to School closures electives must finish on Friday 13th December. The first enrolment day after this will be Tuesday 14th January 2014.
For Electives between February 2014 – May 2014 the application period will be later this year and we will announce this on the website.
As places are limited please do not send in early applications as they will not be accepted but you may still be charged.
The School of Medicine runs an Elective Programme for final year medical students interested in doing a 4 - 8 week clinical placement at Guy's, King's College and St Thomas' Hospitals or University Hospital Lewisham. View a full list of subjects offered.
