Symposium: Neuromuscular Disease

This successful annual event continues, with an educational programme on clinical management of neuromuscular disease, including two talks each on Paediatric and Adult Muscle Disease, Neurophysiology, and Motor Neuron Disease.
There will be talks on

• Congenital myasthenia (Dr Jackie Palace)
• Paediatric and Adult  Muscle Disease: Respiratory Management of the Adolescent DMD patient and transitional care model (Dr Nick Hart) and Myotonic Dystrophy (Dr David Hilton-Jones) 
• Neurophysiology: Syndromes of abnormal spontaneous EMG activity  (Professor Kerry Mills) and Nerve: Infectious neuropathies  (Dr Hadi Manji)
• Motor Neuron Disease: Neuroprotection in ALS: A phantom of imaging?  (Professor Nigel Leigh), The winding road to treating ALS (brain lecture) (Professor Wim Robberecht)


This will be of interest to clinicians working in general neurology, general medicine, pain management, obstetrics, clinical neurophysiology, rehabilitation and paediatrics.
