All staff and students are very welcome to attend the Opening of Term Service.

The preacher will be the Revd Prof Barney Pityana, Visiting Professor in Post-Conflict Societies. Professor Pityana has been at King's for three months pursing ongoing research into theology and human rights and their place in the world-class higher education context. This will be the last chance to hear him speak before he returns to South Africa at the end of this week.

A lunch reception will be held after the service in the St David's Room opposite the chapel to which all are welcome.
