Karim Merchant, freelance rural development consultant working on policy, planning, programming and livelihoods issues.
Karim has been professionally involved in Relief and Development for over 25 years. He was recently in Afghanistan as a United Nations Chief Technical Advisor and policy advisor to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
