GOING BEYOND THE HEADLINES: FINDINGS AND IMPLICATIONS OF THE BIRTHPLACE IN ENGLAND STUDY You are warmly invited to a Women’s Health Division Seminar on Thursday 8th December 2011 from 5 to 6.30 p.m. in Room G79, King’s College London Waterloo Campus, Franklin-Wilkins Building, Stamford Street, SE1 9NH. All are welcome: your assistance with circulation of the invitation will be much appreciated. The seminar will be in the form of a discussion led by Dr Mary Stewart of King’s College, London. Mary Stewart and Professor Jane Sandall will present some of the findings from the Birthplace in England study. They will lead a discussion on the implications of these findings for women when planning where to have their baby; for midwives as they support woman’s informed choice; and for policy makers as they plan future maternity services. This event is free and open to the public and we look forward to seeing you there. The event is jointly sponsored by the Division of Women's Health / Women’s Health Academic Centre KHP and the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery.
