Alumni Weekend: I love London

Location: King's campuses and London venues

• Your night at the Museum of London – The Principal, Professor Richard Trainor welcomes alumni, staff and friends to join him in this very special evening at the Museum of London on Friday 8 June. Take advantage of exclusive after-hours access to the one of the most famous museums in London, open only to Alumni Weekend guests. Browse the upper galleries at your leisure, visit the Dickens and London exhibition with a King’s academic and explore Modern London in the lower galleries.
• Somerset House East Wing open house - Throughout the day on Saturday 9 June, the newly refurbished Somerset House East Wing will be open to guests to learn more about the building’s history and its future as part of King’s. Alongside guided tours of the building, you can learn more about the history of the site with Archaeology talks and discover the cultural and public spaces inside with talks from the artists of the ‘Between’ exhibition and Alan Read, Professor of Theatre.
• Also on Saturday, we are hosting the first ever Staff vs. Students vs. Alumni pub quiz, so get a team of colleagues together, brush up on your London knowledge and set the standard for future years.
