Organised by Professor Giovanna Lombardi and Professor Anthony Dorling, this two-day course is for scientists and clinicians interested in translational transplantation biology with a focus on Cell Therapy to Modulate the Immune System and State of the Art in Liver Transplantation.

At the end of the two day course, attendees will have gained insight into:

* Importance of innate immunity,

* Alloimmune T cell responses to transplanted organ,

* Importance of B cells in immune system,

* Mechanisms of tolerance to transplants,

* State of art in use of Tregs, B cells, DC and MSC to promote tolerance, including clinical updates,

* Imaging techniques for cell tracing.
