Independent league table

King’s College London is placed 15th in The Complete University Guide published by the Independent today. This is a rise of two places on last year’s league table. Oxford and Cambridge Universities are ranked first and second respectively.

This league table is just one of a number of tables published by UK newspapers. For example, the Times Higher Education placed King's 24th in the world in their rankings last year.

The Independent league table, compiled to help students choose the best place to study, uses criteria such as: student satisfaction; research assessment; entry standards; student/staff ratio; academic services spend; facilities spend; good honours; graduate prospects, and completion to rank UK universities.
