Welcome Fair 'best ever'
28 Sep 2009, PR 197/09King’s was recently voted the number one university for City Life by Whatuni.com, with the Students’ Union featuring in the top 10. King’s central London location offers students access to everything that a global capital city has to offer.
Commenting on the success of the fair, KCLSU President, Ryan Wain, said ‘The Fair provides an excellent introduction to all the social and extra-curricular activities at the College. There was a real buzz over the two days, as students signed up for the many clubs, societies and other activity groups available. We encouraged everyone to get involved as much as possible to make the most of their time at King’s.’
In addition to the Fair, KCLSU have lined up a packed schedule of exciting welcome events to suit everyone over the coming weeks, including sports inductions, comedy nights and music performances.
The KCLSU Welcome Fair follows on from the popular Family Programme Welcome Fair, run by the Development & Alumni Office, which over 1,000 parents, guardians and partners of new undergraduate students attended on 19 September as an introduction to the College community.
