British Council accreditation for ELC

The English Language Centre (ELC) successfully passed its October inspection and is now accredited by the British Council.

The English Language Centre currently offers a range of general and academic English language courses in addition to more specialised courses. It also offers bespoke courses for a variety of public and private sector organisations.

Dr Neil Murray, Programme Director for Centre, said: ‘This is good news indeed and I would like to thank all those involved for their support in the lead up to and during the inspection.'

The English Language Centre, as well as being accredited by the British Council, and is also a member of BALEAP (British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes), IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language) and the AULC (Association of University Language Centres).
