Strand Building closure

The loss of the internal electrical power supply to the Strand Building means that this building will remain closed for the rest of the week. The rest of the Strand Campus is open for business as usual.The areas in the Strand Building that are affected include:
- Archives Services and the Liddell Hart Centre for Military Archives
- School of Social Science & Public Policy Office
- Departments of Mathematics, History, English, Spanish
- Division of Engineering
The rest of the Strand Campus, including the Chapel, the Great Hall, and the School Offices of Law, Humanities and Physical Sciences & Engineering are open for business as usual. The Christmas lunch on Tuesday 18 December in the Great Hall will go ahead as planned.
Staff affected by the Strand Building closure need to arrange to work from another location or from home.
