Louise Pratt
Louise joined King's in May 2007 and is Public Relations and Communications Manager at the Institute of Psychiatry (IoP).
Louise joins the college with 6 years media experience in television and radio working on a range of programmes for BBC1, BBC2, BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4. Additionally she has 6 years PR experience encompassing health, arts, property and charitable sectors.
Louise’s role focuses on public relations and communications for both the IoP as a whole and specifically the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust/King's College London new National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) for Mental Health.
Her work involves raising awareness of the IoP/NIHR BRC's research and expertise in mental health and brain disease through press and media relations, internal and external communications as well as managing the wider communications activities for the IoP.
