How can we encourage a wider range of students into higher education when university fees have risen?
On Tuesday 27 November we'll be holding a debate in conjunction with our student union, KCLSU, to discuss widening participation in a higher fee climate. You’re invited to come along to express your views whether you are a student, member of staff or academic.
Panel members include:
Dr Tony Sewell from Generating Genius, an organisation which works with high-achieving young people from challenging backgrounds where there has been no tradition of entry to higher education
- the president of KCLSU
- students who run Widening Participation projects
- academics
- Anne-Marie Canning, Head of the Widening Participation Programme at King’s.
The debate, chaired by the Debate Society, will form part of National Volunteering Week activities at King's and promises to be really interesting. See you there!
