Caleb Gakpetor, 2nd Year, Chemistry with Biomedicine BSc

Caleb-Gakpetor_155x155King's encompasses everything I wanted from a university: prestige, innovation and opportunity. King's ability to create a community of diverse front-runners was something I wanted to be a part of. This sense of community and togetherness is very clear ranging from the support from lecturers and pastoral care all the way to the sports teams, and is something that can be truly appreciated during your time here. Furthermore, being in the heart of London also means that I am able to truly experience all that one of the world's best cities has to offer.

Aysha Patel, 3rd Year, Mathematics BSc

Aysha-155x155I chose to study at King's because of the prestigious reputation of both the University and the course. Studying Mathematics is great and there is lots of help and support available beyond the lectures. The social side of King's is fantastic with all the clubs and societies as well as the attractions and night life of London.

Sophie Minoughan,  4th Year, Physics MSci

Sophie-Minoughan_155x155I chose to study Physics at King's firstly because of its excellent location; there are very few cities in the world which offer the same opportunities and experiences as London. The Department of Physics has an incredible history and being able to walk in the footsteps of such influential figures as Maxwell and Higgs is amazing! I very much feel part of the community at King's. My lecturers are so supportive and always make their lectures engaging and interesting. My experiences have been life enhancing on both an academic and personal level.

Amber Shafi, 3rd Year, Biomedical Engineering BEng

Amber-Shafi_155x155Having completed immense background research before applying for Biomedical Engineering, I knew I was in for an absolute treat when I was accepted by King's. Not only did the quality of all modules exceed my already high expectations, but the practical applicability of the course proved to be very stimulating. The department provides excellent lab facilities, the staff is energetic and motivated and I don't believe there can be a better environment to nurture the next generation of bio-engineers, than here at King's.
