taught programmes
We pursue excellence in teaching, scholarship and research. We incorporate changes in engineering education and demands by industry for both specialist and broad-based engineers in our degree programmes. Our students are the heart of the division, and its future.
Research degress
An MPhil or PhD degree requires students to undertake original research work under the supervision of two members of academic staff. All students initially register for an MPhil, with the opportunity to transfer to a PhD after 6 to 18 months (subject to passing a transfer viva).
funding
A number of awards and scholarships are available to students wishing to study for a Masters or PhD qualification in Engineering.
research in the division
Research within the Division of Engineering is mainly concentrated in the areas of Communications, Digital Signal Processing, Fluid Mechanics, Materials, Robotics, Bio-Engineering & Intelligent Systems.
Events, open days & visits
Open days are an excellent opportunity for you to find out how your subject is taught, look around the relevant campus, learn about life at the College and talk to current students.
staff/student profiles
King's is renowned for providing an especially welcoming environment for talented students from all over the world.
